Christmas Cookies
A very special offer but absolutely worth trying! Dedicated to those who cook with love... and those who like to taste!
Ingredients for the shortcrust pastry: 500 g. of 00 flour, 250 g of icing sugar, 250 g of butter, 2 whole eggs + 1 yolk, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, milk to taste for kneading.
Mix the butter at room temperature with the sugar, then add the other ingredients and form a ball. Let it rest for about an hour in the refrigerator. Roll out with a rolling pin and create the preferred shapes with cookie cutters, then brush them with milk to make the decorations stick (dried fruit, candied fruit, chocolate chips, sprinkles...) Bake in the oven at 180° for about 10 minutes, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Tip: cook them in abundance and give them to whoever you love!
